If you’re looking for the solutions to turn on Bluetooth adapter on your Dell Vostro 1320/1420/1520 laptop, this post is just for you. I used to reinstall the operating system Windows 7 for my Dell Vostro 1320 laptop, but then, it is unable to read the bluetooth that previously works normal, even the bluetooth icon doesn’t appear on the control panel. I tried to turn on bluetooth adapter but I only get the error message: “Press Fn+F2 or use the radio switch to activate Bluetooth”. It made me so tired and wanted to reinstall Windows Vista instead of Windows 7. But a miracle to me, I have found a solution accidentally.

    Thank you man!
I finally could feel my internal BT!
    I had it
for 4 years! but since my laptop had win7 from the beginning, I could
not see it and thus I thought it is missed in my PC!!!
    I finally could use it!.

Same with me, as Muharram – Vostro 1520 (sucks!) Win 7/64bit. Did all you said, then tells me to Activate Bluetooth using Wireless Switch – NOT! I even DL the actual dell drivers, and says the same thing! Why even have it there if I can’t get it to work :-(

I wonder if it’s a 64 and 32 bit issue. The link looks to be to a 32 bit driver and you are installing it on a 64bit box :S
